Hello there! My name is Sarah aka Geek+Nerd. I’m a 29 year old dance educator by day, hipster Martha Stewart wannabe by night. I love cooking, decorating my apartment, thrifting and crafting pretty things! I am the proud parent of two adorable fur-babies Hobbes and Cassie ♥
I am the creator/craft-tastic diva behind the Holiday Handmade Crusade, a year-round craft-a-long/crusade that encourages participants to craft holiday gifts bit by bit each month. The Holiday Handmade Crusade aims to fight the holiday big box retail machine and take back the true meaning of the holidays with needle and thread, yarn and hook, one handmade gift at a time!
In my spare time (HA!), I choreograph and direct a contemporary dance company, Neoteric Dance Collaborative. Neo performs frequently in the Boston area, but has also made appearances all over New England and New York City.You can view a brief video of NDC in performance below.
Right now I'm loving vinyl records, local food, knitting mittens, vintage hairstyles and altering clothing.
