I must admit - when the floral trend started to re-emerge, my first response was "GAG." I had no desire to run out and buy something that would make me look like a Laura Ashley bed set.
HOWEVER...my co-worker Evangeline, who is one of the snazziest dressers I know, started wearing florals with finesse. Then Elsie from A Beautiful Mess popped up in my feed reader wearing cute floral tights and polka-dots in tandem, and images on Pinterest assaulted me with the adorable combination of florals and stripes
In short, I was sold.
I picked up this button-down a few weeks ago at Goodwill for $3. The skirt and shoes are also past thrift finds as well. Tights from Marshalls and knit hat courtesy of my Mum.
What do you think? Can I rock the florals? Have you ever had a fashion trend grow on you slowly?

Super cute outfit! Florals are something I'm always pretty hesitant about because the scale and colour tend to date so fast. I tend to stick to solids with only the odd print in the wardrobe. Yes, I'm boring.
