Life has been FULL as of late, and GOOD. I'll give you the highlights.
I've been plugging away at Couch to 5k. I'm on week nine this week, which is graduation week. As of yesterday I am able to run 37 minutes and 30 seconds. I've lost 15 pounds and three inches off of my waist and I'm feeling pretty damned great about it! My sister Ren and I go running together most Saturdays, and we eat a big breakfast afterwards! Here's us after our week five, day three run. First twenty minute run with no walking intervals, big day!
This is Douglas. Douglas is the latest German Short-hair, in a long line of esteemed German Short-hairs to join the ranks at the Pike Compound. Douglas is one of an adorable litter of puppies that I was lucky to play with for a few hours. Too bad I'm not allowed to have dogs in my apartment...this one really wanted to come home with me!
I've been hanging with Renee a ton these days - which is G-R-E-A-T! Here's what we've been up to...
One of my best buds, Megan, had a bouncy castle princess birthday party...
That's what any sensible girl turning 29 would do, right?
I attended two Halloween parties this year (dressed as a low-key Buffy the Vampire slayer on patrol). There was tasty food,
and rather dubious drinks.
Robin's face really says all there is to say about the "Bloody Smurf Jizz" (Yes, that's what the drink was called - EWWWWWW)
In addition to that, I've been running, running, running, singing, singing and running some more!
What have you been up to lately?

Congrats on your couch to 5k! I've been wanting to try that and this might just be the shove I need!
Full and good is excellent news! It looks like you've been having a lot of fun!
I'm jealous of all your running - I'm not brave enough to get started yet.
