I am sending you as many good thoughts as I can. I hate it when not-so-good events seem to pile up. Do think about the super awesome job that you are starting soon.
OH no! I'm so sorry! A friend of mine just had her position "eliminated" last week too. If it helps, think of it as a sign that it was time to move on to bigger and better things anyway :-) Take Care! Dan
Knowing what little I do of you from the blog, this I know: You're awesome, creative, talented, humourous, lighthearted, good natured, compassionate, and yes, strong. Surely these attributes will work for your good soon enough and this bump in the road will prove to be for your benefit.
In the mean time, which is aptly named, take heart, keep true to yourself, and know that there are many people who send you love and all positive things. Lean on those who love you. Take help when it is offered, serve others when you can, and most of all try to remember those things you still have which are good and worthy of your praise. Remembering good things helps us find more open doors.
I love you cookie, big huge hugs. Please keep us updated. And, um yeah, if you need to, pick up something fragile and throw it against a wall with a good hard yell. That always helps relieve a little stress and give the neighbors something to talk about! That's always good. ; )
Remember, when one door closes, another door opens...and that door always leads to awesome! Keep your chin up -- don't get discouraged by all of this stuff. *hugs*
Oh, Sarah!! I'm so sorry about this. I wish so much that I could do something to help you. I hope that you manage to find something else at least temporarily.
i'm so sorry to hear that, that sucks! you aren't the only person i know (well, "know") who got laid off yesterday, and it makes me even more scared about our economy.
i know you will find something entertaining to do with your time, and hope you will also find a shiny new job soon.
Dang, what a cluster of bad events. I'm so sorry about your car and job. But remember, the universe is always unfolding as it should, and even the crap events tend to reveal some kind of odd benefit later on. I'm sending you big hugs and bright future thoughts.
That totally sucks! So sorry to hear that. I hope you find something great very soon. If there's anything I can do, let me know. Times are tight for everyone, that's for sure.
I don't know if the lecture has scholarships, but maybe contact Seacoast Eat Local and see what they can do. If I had the extra $20, I would totally cover your cost.
I'm really sorry for your crappy week. How did everything turn out with paying for the boot? Do you need any cash to help out? I think bunches of people would be happy to chip in - including me.

Oh sweetheart no. It does seem sometimes that the universe just doesn't let up. If I were round the corner I'd have you round for DRINK!
