Holiday Farmer's Market!

Today's Holiday~Farmer's~Market was all about...

Potatoes, turnips, greens, sustainability, kale, lemon spinach, lettuce, honey, maple sugar candy, maple ice cream, maple coated walnuts, wine, spiced pecans, friends, delicious samples galore! community, sustainability, agriculture, riches, carrots, lamb burger, hot lamb sausage, smoked mozzarella, farm cheddar, shallots, popcorn and yogurt...and then a bonus trip to falalo, the yarn basket, mmm baby alpaca.

My friend, Liz, from Riverslea Farm put it best when talking about the market. She said, "Doesn't it make you feel rich?"

It does. I feel so blessed that this is where I live.

If you are local - and you missed out - (what the hell is wrong with you, really?!) - you can check out the second Holiday Farmer's Market on December 20th, 9-2pm. Check out Seacoast Eat Local for details.

Me=Exhausted.

How wonderful to exhaust your body by strolling through nature's bounty arm in arm with friends and gratitude!

btw, did you try the maple ice cream? I am thinking of making maple whipped cream for pumpkin pie.

I was bummed to have to miss this one, but I'm planning to make the December market. I need to stock up on potatoes and onions for the winter!
