A few weeks ago I attended an opening at Nahcotta which featured the work of Lillianna Pereira. Her work is amazing - she makes little, tiny mixed media collages, and somehow sculpts these tiny bits of things so that they look like they always belonged together in the first place! I was so smitten with her work. I saw Lilly there at the show, but me being my shy, anti-social, hater of approaching new people self, I chickened out and didn't say hi. Later when I got home I thought to myself, "I'm so silly, if the situation were reversed and some stranger came up to me and said glowing things about my choreography, I'd be psyched. Silly fraidy-cat me..." So I sent her a glowing e-mail (cop-out, but hey I got my point across). Not only was Lilly super cool and appreciative, but she sent me this amazing print of her Rapunzel as thanks!

Isn't it gorgeous?!
Lilly, you rule! Thank you so much!
