I so loved the thrummed mittens that I made my brother-in-law, Geoff, for Christmas, that I decided I had to have a pair myself. I very leisurely knit my way through this first one over Christmas break - hopefully I can speed through the second one a bit faster! I want toasty hands!!!
Today was a nice day. My mum came over and we knit over coffee, biscotti, and Suzi Blu videos, (thank you Diane).
I only had to teach one class tonight, which was a nice change of pace from the rest of the week, and then I met up for sushi at Sake with some of my co-workers. All in all a pretty decent day.
Tomorrow I get to meet a whole new class of three year olds at 9:00am! I love my job, I do, it's waking myself up and getting there that early that's a little irksome. No matter though, there's nothing like seeing a tiny babe give me a huge grin when I give them a sticker. Kiddos sure know how to appreciate the little things. Coffee, biscotti, fun YouTube, sushi, stickers...it's all the same!
